OUR STORY
From a need to a worldwide movement
Omnicharge started with an idea by designers, digital nomads, and power engineers that just wanted better solutions to an everyday problem, running out of power for our digital devices. Our company was born with the support of our community who believed in us and now are used by even the most demanding professions.
2016
Professional Series
Omnicharge made its debut through a crowdfunding campaign in 2016. The campaign was a massive success raising over $3.6M and becoming the most funded tech campaign that year. The Omnicharge was later renamed the Omni 20 and is the predecessor to our current flagship Omni 20+.
2018
Omni Ultimate
Following the success of the Omni 20, we wanted to continue pushing the limits of what was possible. We wanted something with more capacity, more power, and new features. So in September of 2018, the Omni ultimate was announced on IndieGoGo. A powerful, high-capacity rugged battery for today's digital nomads.
2019
Omni Mobile Series
Having already had three successful product launches, we noticed something all our products had in common. They were pro devices, and not everyone needed all the features. We saw the potential for a line of smaller, simpler devices, which could still power laptops and other equipment. The Omni Mobile launched on IndieGoGo in February 2019.
2020
Enterprise Series
With the growing success of the Omni 20, we saw an increase in business orders, particularly from offices and schools. For them, the Omni 20 was able to expand their electrical infrastructure without needing to make permanent changes or have any construction downtime. The Power Station was designed to provide a self-service solution that could help maintain their devices, track checkouts and returns, all through our Omnicharge cloud software and app.
